Deputy General Counsel

As Deputy General Counsel, Dan serves as the primary attorney for LNW’s trust company and registered investment adviser businesses. He leads the firm’s advisory and counseling, trust services support, and litigation and dispute management functions, and supports the General Counsel on cross-functional legal matters spanning employment, insurance, corporate governance, and securities. Dan partners with teams across LNW to provide practical legal guidance that helps the firm deliver a seamless experience for the individuals, families, and organizations it serves.

Prior to joining LNW, Dan spent nearly two decades in private practice as a litigator at firms in Seattle and San Francisco. His practice focused primarily on trust and estates litigation, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, and complex commercial litigation. He is admitted to practice law in Washington and California.
