Wealth Manager & Employee Owner

After spending time as a ski patroller in Canada, a raft guide in Tennessee and Maine, a volunteer English teacher in rural Costa Rica and finally a math teacher at a boarding school in southwestern Massachusetts, Kate decided it was time to take her math degree and this unexpectedly varied set of experiences into the world of finance. She came to California, where she started with a position at an investment advisory firm in Menlo Park before joining LNW in 2014.

Kate works with clients to manage their investment portfolios and serve as a partner in their overall financial planning. While passionate about investments and the capital markets, Kate finds getting to know and working alongside her clients to be the most fulfilling part of her job – in particular, she enjoys the many opportunities to help guide clients through different financial life events. Within portfolios, Kate enjoys exploring impact investments for clients interested in pursuing financial, environmental and social returns from their invested capital.

A teacher encourages curiosity and conversation – skills I’ve been able to apply to my role as a financial advisor.
